About
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
YesterdayWorldz core mission is to inspire and contribute to the evolving landscape of virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, music, design and culture. Started in 2018 by computer scientist, designer, and music composer Christopher D. Pearl, he views the world of tomorrow as an interconnecting place where data will surround human beings and make life more efficient and comfortable through the usage of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Artificial Intelligence.
After attending the Hawaii Pacific University, Chris became a self-taught programmer while audio engineering various indie music projects. During this time, he found and developed a passion for creating within the Unity 3D platform, making 3D models and environments in Blender, and curating digital content. He has been a part of multiple groundbreaking companies like Madison Square Garden Sphere (Las Vegas) and has contributed in the medical industry, working on digital twin technology and virtual reality applications.
Outside of making visuals and programming, Chris has also grown his passion for music development and sound design, creating the sounds in his digital experiences as well as composing music for scores, hip hop, rnb, classical, alternative, and an array of other genres.
"I hope to contribute to the spatial web and digital experience, expanding our lives on the internet from 2 dimensional to 3 dimensional and beyond 2 senses (visual and auditory). It will help us become greater than we could have ever imagined and surpass our limitations as creatives and productive human beings, benefiting all humans and lifeforms on Earth."
